COFCO Corporation officially became one of the senior sponsors to Shanghai Expo 2010 after signing an agreement in Shanghai with the coordination bureau for the Expo on July 31, 2009.
As Mr. Patrick Yu, President of COFCO, said, COFCO was building itself on the whole value chain basis into a grain, edible oil and food producer and a metropolitan complex developer, expecting to introduce healthy consuming habits for contributing to recreating a better life in metropolises and solidifying harmony between the human and nature.
