Brazil's Santos Port is the largest in Latin America, accounting for 28 percent of the nation's foreign trade. In March 2022, a Chinese company won the bid for a 25-year franchise for the STS11 terminal, which will be expanded and become one of the largest terminals at the port and be put into operation in 2026. The terminal's annual transshipment capacity will increase from 3.5 million tonnes to more than 14 million tonnes, facilitating the export of Brazilian agricultural products. (Photos Via COFCO)
