On March 26th, WPP, the world’s largest marketing communications company, and Kantar Millward Brown jointly announced the list of BrandZ? Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2018. Mengniu and Fulimen were included in the list again for their impressive market performance.
Mengniu Dairy ranked the 20th for its brand value of USD 5.364 billion (an increase of 7% yoy). It has been listed among the top 20 of BrandZ? Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands for four successive years. As the only edible oil brand that made to the list for nine years in a row, Fulinmen ranked the 93rd for its brand value which grew by 3% yoy up to USD 382 million.
Mengniu and Fulinmen notably made to the “Top 20 Brand Contribution” ranking released on the same day. BrandZ? brand contribution indicators measure the impact of brand, without financials or other factors, in driving sales and generating premium. Brands that are well received by consumers score higher in brand contribution.
The total value of BrandZ? Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2018 is USD 683.9 billion, an increase of 23% year-on-year that set a record high. Among them, leading brands of tech, education and logistics companies delivered eye-catching performance, reflecting Chinese consumers’ robust consumption power and mentality of pursuing a better future.
