COFCO chairman Frank Ning met with Ambassador of Israel to China Matan Vilnai at COFCO Fulinmen Mansion on April 7, 2015. The two sides exchanged views on the building of COFCO Ecological Valley projects as well as matters concerning cooperation between COFCO and Israeli enterprises.
Mr. Frank Ning gave a briefing on the development of COFCO Argo-Ecological Valley projects. He welcomed Israeli enterprises to visit and invest in Ecological Valley and expected Israeli embassy in China to introduce more Israeli enterprises and Israel’s advanced agricultural technology into China.
Mr. Matan Vilnai reaffirmed his understanding that China attaches great importance to food safety and believed that China and Israel enjoy good opportunities for bilateral cooperation. He welcomed COFCO to invest in Israel and expressed his pleasure in introducing more Israeli enterprises and advanced technology to China.
Mr. Ophir Gore, commercial attaché of Embassy of Israel in China and Mr. Zhou Zheng, COFCO vice president attended the meeting.
