COFCO Corporation and China Life Insurance (Group) Company signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement in Beijing on February 25, 2013.
According to the agreement, China Life will support COFCO in equity financing of important enterprises in important industries like agri-processing, food, trading and financing. The two parties will bring out synergy of insurance capital and industry economy by making investment, financing and business model innovation. They will deepen cooperation in funds, futures, insurance, real estate and other relevant fields.
