The ceremony was held for COFCO Intellectual Property Education Base (IPEB) launching online courses and for Patent Examiner Training Base (PETB) inaugurating in COFCO headquarters on December 3, 2012.
IPEB offers China’s first platform of giving online courses, which is established jointly by COFCO, China Intellectual Property Training Center of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and Beijing Intellectual Property Office. COFCO headquarters is designated by SIPO as PETB which is the first state patent examiner training base established in the headquarters of the state-owned company directly under the State Council.
This will offer COFCO’s all business units the opportunity to learn more about intellectual property and also help them solve problems.
