Gloria Hotels & Resorts was also honored with “Best Local Hotel Chain Operating in Greater China” Award organized by TTG Asia Media during the inaugural TTG China Travel Awards, a prestigious award ceremony which took place alongside Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings (IT&CM) China 2008 trade show.

China Top 10
Commissioned by TTG and conducted by Euromonitor International, the China Top 10 study recognizes various travel and tourism organizations that have made it into the China Top 10 rankings in 2008.
This China-wide study ranks the country's top performing travel and tourism organizations in a bid to better understand the Chinese travel and tourism market.
Unlike the TTG China Travel Awards which determines winners based on popularity votes, China Top 10 seeks to rank organizations based on their revenue and business performance from the previous year.
TTG China Travel Awards
The inaugural TTG China Travel Awards honors top performing travel and tourism organizations whose significant contributions have helped shaped China's industry.
The awards cover the following industry sectors: Airlines, Hotel Chains, Hotels - Individual Property, Resorts - Individual Property, Serviced Residence, Spa and Others. Hotel Chains and Hotels - Individual Property categories also recognizes star performers from Hong Kong and Macau.
Winners are determined by votes cast by TTG readers across China and Asia Pacific in a voting campaign. As TTG readers are members of the travel and tourism trade, the award winners are therefore deemed the best in the industry from a trade's perspective.
