IP certification is a quality control system now being used in the US and Europe during the production and processing of non-GMF foods to preserve the "status" of agricultural products (i.e. preserve the singularity of products) and thereby improve the quality and price of products. In addition, it can enhance the overall image of production and processing of the enterprise. In recent years the use of IP has spread to the production and supply chains for non-GMF foods of the US, the EU, Canada and Brazil.
