COFCO’s team building case was awarded the Management Action Gold Prize on the awarding ceremony organized by Harvard Business Review, a world-known management magazine, at Beijing on September 14, 2010. The case has been published on the Harvard Business Review of August issue and its website.
Mr. Chi Jingtao, Vice President of COFCO, attended the ceremony and introduced COFCO’s fully integrated business strategy, team building and leadership development.
The Harvard Business Review Management Action Prize is co-sponsored by Harvard Business Review, world-known as the management Bible, and Boston Consulting Group (BCG). They, each year with joint efforts of Harvard University, Accenture Ltd., Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management and other famous ones home and abroad, collect corporate management cases of over 100 China-based companies, including large-sized state-owned companies, medium- and small-sized private companies and large- and medium-sized multinationals, to analyze and select the better ones for awarding. It is the most recognized one of its kind in professionalism and authority in China. In most cases, the prize is awarded to companies good at trying new concepts.
