China Alcoholic Drinks Industry Association gave awards to well performing enterprises and individuals of the industry on April 14, 2010, publishing China’s first winner list of Yi Di Prize. COFCO’s Great Wall wine was awarded the Yi Di Social Responsibility Prize and Mr. Qu Zhe was awarded the Yi Di Excellence Prize.
The Yi Di Prize is awarded for the purpose of sharing business experience and advocating corporate social responsibility so that the industry would be promoted to develop in a better and more rapid way. Great Wall wine is awarded for leading the home wine market, driving development of local economy and contributing to rural prosperity.
Yi Di was in charge of brewery in ancient China’s Xia Dynasty. He was one of the oldest professionals in China. The Yi Di Prize is awarded for recognition of growth, responsibility and quality. It is of the highest level of the industry.
