The Brand China Industry Union (BCIU) recently publicized China’s Top 10 Brand Events in 2009, for building China’s track record in indigenous brand development. From ten thousand candidate events COFCO and Mengniu were both elected among the final list. They carry out industrial upgrade on mutual advantages, representing China’s brand development path with its own traits.
China’s dairy industry was hit badly in 2008. However, after only one year, it was reinvigorated from the near mess, stimulating China’s economy. Mengniu is the market leader of China’s dairy industry. It still managed to nudge into the world’s top 20 dairy companies under such situation, lifting global people’s confidence in Made in China.
With alliance made between Mengniu and COFCO, Mengniu witnesses brighter future. COFCO can contribute to Mengniu in the customer network and food safety management, which expects to shorten the course of Mengjiu’s market integration, food safety control and strategic resource globalization. For now, Mengniu set the clear target at the world’s top 10 dairy company list.
